WHAT IF MY COUNTER IS TOO FAST OR TOO SLOW?

If your counter is counting too fast or too slow, you can change your scaler value (sometimes shown in the programming as the correction constant or calibration factor) to get a more accurate reading on your display. Typically, your scaler value should be based on the ppr of your input signal to the encoder.
