Percentage timers operate by a synchronous motor-driven cam that closes a snap action switch for a percentage of the total time cycle. Users can adjust settings while the timer is in operation. Adjust the setting of the pointer to change the relationship of the switch transfer point at zero and desired interval. As the progress pointer passes zero, the load switch transfers. Percentage timers continue to operate as a repeat cycle timer as long as power is supplied to the motor.
